Who we are

As the President of Southern Technical Services, LLC, David Segal brings his more than 30 years of business backround in the communications field to assist his clients.

Starting his original business in 1984, he specialized in residential and commercial satellite dish supply, installation and service.  He has installed thousands of antennae from 1 meter to over 10 meter in size.

The next phase of the business was to design, supply, install and maintain small to large RF distribution systems and to build and modify CATV and SMATV head-ends.  With system sizes from five or ten drops to hundreds of drops, it was no problem.

Mr. Segal's company was one of the very first DirecTV dealers in the Houston area and he has designed and installed systems at many major landmark buildings engineering them to have over 50 receivers running off of one satellite dish and not succumbing to rain-fade.

Through evolution, the company expanded to become an electrical contractor, a low voltage communication wiring contractor and an audio-video-control systems contractor.

His company was one of the largest Vantage Lighting Controls and Crestron dealers in the Houston area.

He brings this knowledge and especially his intense RF distribution system backround to Southern Technical Services, LLC to continue what he has done before and to specialize in the installation and maintenance of Cellular Repeater Systems.
