Owners of a 40,000 square foot manufacturing facility in Victoria, Texas which also encompassed two 4,000 square foot floors on top of each other of offices and a separate office wing with about 2,000 square feet of office space with little or no cellular signal inside the building.


Issues:

The owners needed quality 4G cell phone signal for quality data and voice connectivity in their facility; primarily in the office area, but also in the manufacturing area as well. Lack of 4G coverage in the building was due to building being constructed of corrugated metal and a corrugated metal roof as well. The building created a complete cellular dead-zone in its interior.

Corrugated metal buildings are very common and most have the same problems with cellular reception. Solution:

A detailed survey was carried out across the building by our RF technicians. Signal reading was done from outside and inside the building for the most ideal cellular coverage amplifier to be recommended. The cable routes, as well as the best place for the installation of the new cell phone signal amplifier were also charted.

Due to the size of the building, the layout, building materials and other factors identified during the survey, two Sure Call Force5 2.0 amplifiers were proposed with 10 inside antennae.
